Lefkada Recommendations
Lefkada and its surrounding islands have some of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. Many of the finest beaches are inaccessible by road — and traveling by boat is the only way to reach them. Below are some suggestions for where to go with your motorboat. For safety reasons, we recommend that you stay within the area shown on the map enclosed by the red circle.
Madouri
Madouri the island on which the National Greek poet Aristotle Valaoritis was born and raised.
Skorpios
Skorpios the Onassis island, playground of the rich and famous in the 60s.
Abelakia
Abelakia – the north-eastern edge of Meganisi, a stunning stretch of coastline with countless beautiful bays and inlets.
Spartochori
Spartochori – one of Meganisi’s three villages, the rather steep walk from the harbour at Porto Spilia leading up to it is worth it for the stunning views from the top.
East coast
Lefkada’s east coast is dotted with secluded bays and beaches and the only way to reach them is by boat.
